Attorney Profiles

Christopher T. Fletcher was raised from early childhood in Overland Park, Kansas, attended Trailwood Elementary School, Indian Creek Jr. High, and Shawnee Mission South High School where he graduated in 1985. After High School, he attended the United States Military Academy at West Point from 1985 to 1987. He then attended the University of Kansas where he graduated in 1989. Mr. Fletcher participated in a variety of competitive athletics from childhood through his time at West Point. Mr. Fletcher earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Washburn University School of Law in 1992.

After taking several months of "down lime", he began the practice of law in the state of Kansas in 1993 and in the state of Missouri in 1994. Though Mr. Fletcher began the practice of law as a sole proprietor, he was trained, tutored, and otherwise mentored for seven years by his father, Stephen M. Fletcher, who earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Washburn University School of Law in 1966. Mr. Fletcher and his father then entered into a partnership in 2000. The partnership flourished due to their ability to work well together and compliment each others practice. This partnership lasted for nearly seven years through December, 2006, Mr. Fletcher feels that he owes his father an eternal debt of gratitude for the knowledge and perspective he gained during their time in practice together. As his father neared the end of his career, the timing grew ripe for Mr. Fletcher to make appropriate adjustments in his own legal career to main lain long term stability. Their partnership was amicably dissolved and in January, 2007. Mr. Fletcher then entered into a partnership with Mark A. Rohrbaugh, Mr. Fletcher's ongoing goals are to continue to pursue excellence in the practice of law and maintain positive, productive attorney/client relationships.

Mr. Fletcher is happily married with a daughter and a son. Mr. Fletcher has spent a majority of his life creating and maintaining strong ties to the community in Kansas City. When he is not working, Mr. Fletcher enjoys time with his family, participating in and coaching a variety of athletics, and is active in his church.

Mr. Fletcher is fully capable of handling virtually any type of criminal matter and is well versed and capable of rendering valuable legal advice in many debtor/creditor issues, particularly Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. His criminal practice serves mainly Johnson, Wyandotte, and Miami Counties in Kansas and Jackson, Platte, Clay, and Cass Counties in Missouri along with the individual cities contained therein. His Bankruptcy practice serves the District of Kansas and the Western District of Missouri.
